Business Roadmap is a process by which a company's vision is translated into a set of fundamental business processes.
Business processes are married to functionality of business software like SAP.
Just like a building will collapse if developed without prior planning. Similarly poorly constructed roadmap will fail the company in achieving its vision.
Business roadmap is independent of the technology.
Once business processes have been identified, they can be mapped to a functionality of any business software e.g. SAP or Oracle running on any hardware platform e.g. Windows or Linux.
